Dosher Medical Urgent Care


Sometimes you need medical care precisely when you need it. It may be during the day, after hours when your doctor's office is closed, or when you're visiting on vacation. If you need care for life's minor accidents, illnesses or injuries, our Urgent Care team is here to provide you with professional, caring, immediate attention.

Urgent Care is open on holidays this summer 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Other days of operation are weekdays 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Urgent Care is at Dosher Medical Plaza, 4222 Long Beach Road, between Southport and Oak Island. Dosher Medical Urgent Care accepts patients of all ages, including those with Medicare and Medicaid coverage, as well as those with private insurance plans. For more information, call (910) 454-4732.

For emergency medical needs, please go to our Emergency Department at the hospital, 924 N. Howe St., Southport, which is open 24/7/365. It's a four-mile, 10-minute drive from Urgent Care.
