Our goal is to prepare you for this experience and help you set expectations for a speedy recovery. We strive to make your experience as pleasant as possible. We believe an educated patient will recover quicker and get back to normal life activities. So, we're now holding patient education sessions the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month, 11 a.m. to noon, in the second floor conference room at the hospital.
The class will help patients know what to expect in several aspects of care:
Preparing for surgery The day before surgery The day of surgery, including pain management Post-op Discharge from the hospital
